From Patients to Platforms:
My Journey Through UX.

I didn’t start my career in tech, I started in dental hygiene, working directly with patients and learning firsthand how empathy, attention to detail, and clear communication can transform an experience. That foundation shaped how I see design: understanding people, their needs, and how systems — digital or human — can support them.

Transitioning into UX wasn’t a straight line. I earned my Bachelor’s in Design and dove into digital experiences with the same curiosity and rigor I brought to clinical work. In my current role, I lead UX and accessibility across 50+ websites and platforms, having built and transitioned 35+ sites in-house, saving the organization $870K annually. I focus on creating scalable, accessible, and sustainable digital systems — from enterprise-level design systems to recruiting funnels and internal tools — that make life easier for users while driving business impact.

I work independently, digging deep into complex problems, while collaborating strategically with cross-functional teams to align user needs, compliance, and business goals. My expertise spans UX strategy, accessibility (WCAG AA), analytics-informed design, and governance frameworks — all applied in high-stakes, enterprise healthcare environments.

Beyond work, I’m energized by the great outdoors snowboarding in the winter, backpacking in the summer, and exploring the natural world—especially noticing the small details in how people move through and interact with their environment. These experiences shape how I approach complex design challenges. I thrive at the intersection of people, systems, and strategy, always seeking ways to make digital experiences more intuitive, inclusive, and impactful.
